JACK, a criminal lawyer is forced to investigate the death of a young girl if he is to find his wife-EMILY alive who has been abducted along with 7 other people in an isolated mansion where they are being mercilessly murdered! Jack has 48hrs...The clock is ticking…

Summary

The narrative opens in an isolated mansion on a deserted highway surrounded by forests within which we witness a female judge being mercilessly murdered by a masked serial killer who decapitates her head. 

Next morning there is a news flash as the head of the female judge is left outside a courtroom and a symbol is drawn on the wall signifying the signature of the serial killer. We see a news reporter, ROSE, saying that their city is haunted by a serial killer who abducts and kills various high-profile people who are involved in some misdeed or the other. It’s as if it’s not a serial killer but is a “Vigilante”. 

The news is being watched by JACK, an ex-criminal lawyer known to defend and free criminals, unkempt in a shoddy looking but huge office surrounded by literature on law which suggests that he was once having an extremely successful law practice but suddenly the practice seemed to have died down. Suddenly from under the door, an envelope is slid across towards Jack’s feet! On top of the envelope is the same symbol that the serial killer has been using and as he opens the envelope he sees his wife EMILY’S wedding ring along with a message for Akshay 

“Give Justice to a Dead Girl if you want to see your wife alive. You have 48hrs”

Jack realizes that his wife is missing and is abducted by the Serial Killer/Vigilante responsible for multiple killings and with the help of the news reporter- Rose, he tries to investigate the story and the identity of the dead girl whom he has to give justice for his wife’s freedom. Parallelly EMILY along with 7 other strangers are trapped in the same isolated mansion where the lady judge was beheaded not realizing that they are preys to a serial killer who starts killing them one by one.

The story goes back and forth between Jack’s investigation and the kills happening in that mansion as Jack realizes that the people in the mansion are somehow connected to the death of the “Mystery Girl” he is investigating and that the mystery girl is none other than his own daughter.

As the story unwinds, we arrive at a shocking climax with regards to the identity of the serial killer
